All Cape Fear Farm Credit scholarships focus on the areas of academic excellence, community involvement, leadership, and commitment to Southeastern North Carolina agriculture and rural development.
Application Process
Scholarship applications are available at any Cape Fear Farm Credit office. Information is also available at www.capefearfarmcredit.com or an information packet can be requested by calling 800-368-5819 x3238. Complete applications must be received no later than March 2, 2012. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applicants must agree for their picture and award information to be used in publicity and news release materials if they are selected to receive a scholarship.
Available Scholarships
FFA Scholarship
One (1) FFA scholarship award is available each year to a high school senior residing in the counties served by Cape Fear Farm Credit. Applicants must have at least one year of membership with FFA. This scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2,000 per year for up to four years. Applicant must be accepted at a college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.
Dependents of Cape Fear Farm Credit members and/or employees will receive extra points towards the final score in consideration of this scholarship. However, this advantage does not suggest or guarantee selection of the applicant, as all applicants will be considered equally in terms of academic performance and overall judging criteria. Finalists for this scholarship will be contacted for an interview with the Scholarship Committee at a mutually convenient date and time.

Diversity Scholarship
One (1) $500 scholarship will be available. Applicants must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must appropriately identify their racial/ethnic status on the application. Applicant must be accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.

At-Large Scholarship
Eleven (11) $500 scholarships will be available. Applicant must reside in a county served by Cape Fear Farm Credit and must be the child or grandchild of a Cape Fear Farm Credit member. Applicant must be accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college or university program as a full-time undergraduate student.
