Appraisal Services

Cape Fear Farm Credit has the benefit of an on-staff appraisal team to provide guidance to the lending staff with regard to evaluating and developing an opinion of value of property taken as collateral in connection with lending activities. The staff consists of three State-Certified General Real Estate Appraisers who are certified to prepare appraisals in both North Carolina and South Carolina and a collateral evaluator. The State-Certified Appraisers have a combined 61 years in lending and appraisal experience, while the evaluator has lending and evaluation experience of 33 years.

Our team of State-Certified Appraisers, in addition to supporting the lending function of Cape Fear Farm Credit, is available to serve you, our borrowers, and those persons and legal entities eligible to borrow from Cape Fear Farm Credit, or persons acting on their behalf including accountants, attorneys, executors, estate planners, administrators, and financial institutions.

Our appraisers are very experienced in evaluating and developing an opinion of value for many different property types in our territory in southeastern North Carolina and surrounding areas. We are constantly researching the market and updating our database of farm real estate sales for all types of rural property.
